A lot of planning and dreaming went into Werner and
Lize-mari’s {love} shoot and we are very
proud to present some of the first photos of those two exciting afternoons. This
part was all done at Rosemary Hill situated just outside Pretoria and the whole
shoot was built around romance, beauty, love and that little bit of whimsy we all carry with
us!
Smitten is the story of
two woodlands creatures torn between the joys of love and longing. We took
inspiration from Midsummer Night’s Dream with all its ethereal beauty, added
the beautiful Rosemary Hill and then of course a pinch of true {dust and dreams
PHOTOGRAPHY} soul and together with the gorgeous Lize-mari and Werner it was
easy to make magic!

under our skin…. Yes, we are THAT excited about this amazing photo session we
did a few weeks ago but alas you will all have to wait as we will not indulge these

To photograph an old friend is such a privilege and so
exciting… but there is also a lot of pressure to capture the beautiful person
just as you know her and to try and portray a bit of her soul in the photos.
For Gizela we only needed an oversized men’s shirt, some
lippy and of course a great mane of ruffled hair.All these photos were taken in a very quick fifteen minute session just after 6 am one morning and she was a real rock star for being up for it so early!
